ME2: Period & Cycle Tracker Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
ME2: Period & Cycle Tracker Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date: 24 September 2026.
This policy supplements the ME2 Privacy Policy for consumers covered by Nevada's consumer health data law.
Consumer health data, sources, and purposes
ME2 can collect menstrual and cycle dates, flow and spotting, cycle settings, feelings and moods, symptoms, energy, stress, sleep, pain, notes, medication and contraception context, ovulation-test results, basal temperature, life-stage or fertility-related context, and estimates or inferences generated from your entries.
Consumer health data comes directly from information you enter or select in ME2 and from estimates or inferences generated from those entries. We use it to provide the tracking functions you request, including logs, estimates, charts, reminders, educational context, and related features. If you separately enable Health-data account sync, we also use it to synchronize and recover your ME2 records across your devices.
How consumer health data is processed
ME2 can process health data on your device. If you enable account sync, it is also processed using account-backed infrastructure and managed backups for synchronization, recovery, security, and service operation. Access by personnel and processors is limited to what is reasonably necessary for those functions.
Sharing and recipient categories
Friendship alone does not share consumer health data. If you enable optional friend health-summary sharing, ME2 first obtains separate affirmative, voluntary sharing consent. The only consumer health data categories disclosed through this feature are: (a) days until the estimated next period and current cycle stage; and/or (b) the most recently selected feeling and the date it was logged. The purpose is the personal social-sharing feature you request. The recipient category is accepted Ananass friends who use ME2's Friends area while your consent and the relevant sharing setting remain active.
Third parties and affiliates. The third parties to whom ME2 may share consumer health data through this optional feature are the accepted Ananass friends you authorize as described above. ME2 does not share consumer health data with any corporate affiliate. Service providers acting as processors may handle consumer health data on our behalf as necessary for hosting, backups, authentication, security, and related service functions.
ME2 does not sell consumer health data or provide it to data brokers or advertisers for advertising or commercial profiling. ME2 does not permit third parties to collect consumer health data over time and across unaffiliated websites or online services when you use ME2.
Consent and withdrawal
Where Nevada law requires affirmative, voluntary consent for collection or sharing, ME2 obtains that consent before the applicable processing. Consent to friend health-summary sharing is separate from account sync and friendship. Before sharing, the consent identifies the health-data categories, purpose and use, recipient category, and how to withdraw.
You may stop future friend sharing at any time by turning off the relevant sharing option. You may withdraw account-sync consent in Privacy & data settings. Changes take effect after they are received by the service.
Your Nevada rights and requests
You may request confirmation of whether ME2 is collecting, sharing, or selling consumer health data concerning you; a list of third parties with whom it has been shared or sold; cessation of applicable collection or sharing; and deletion. You may review and change supported tracker entries directly in ME2. For information that cannot be reviewed or corrected in the app, or for any statutory request, contact help@ananass.app. We may take reasonable steps to authenticate the request and will respond within the period required by Nevada law.
The Friends area provides your health-sharing consent or authorization records and a history of friends to whom ME2 actually disclosed a selected summary. If we decline to act on a statutory request, you may appeal by emailing business@ananass.app and stating that you are appealing a Nevada consumer health data request.
Deletion
When an applicable deletion request is completed, ME2 deletes covered consumer health data from active systems and applies deletion to managed backups through our retention process. We notify applicable processors, contractors, and other recipients as required by law. If a friend previously received a health summary, ME2 revokes future access through the service. ME2 cannot remotely erase a screenshot or other independent copy already stored on another person's device.
Policy changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we will post the updated policy and provide any additional notice required by Nevada law. We will obtain affirmative, voluntary consent before applying a new collection, use, or sharing practice where Nevada law requires that consent.
